Moses and Paul came forth from their desert, saying
モーセとパウロは彼らの砂漠(アラビア)から現れ、

“this and this is miraculously revealed truth which the world is to believe”
「これとこれは奇跡的に啓示された真理である、世界は信じるべき」と言った。

Should it not rather be said,“this is truth , viz.,that mane is to discover from the means within and without his nature , all the truth to find which that nature is competent”?
むしろこう言うべきである。「これが真実である。すなわち人間は、本性の能力(内に即した媒介はキリスト・外に即した能力はロゴス)が見つけるすべての真理、自分の内と外の本性(作用的一)から発見する(知られる)。」と。

We offer you what we believe to be truth .
私たちは、あなた方に私たちが真理であると信じることを提供します。

We offer our reasons to your reasons , our feeling to your feeling.
私たちの理性をあなた方の理性に、私たちの感性をあなた方の感性に提供します。

Judge ye if it is truth.　
それが真理であるかどうかを判断しなさい。

Do we speak of what we is important? Then consider it.
私たちは重要なことを言っているのでしょうか？そうなら、よく考えなさい。

Is it important?
それは重要でしょうか？

If not , hear us no further in this matter.
もしそうでないなら、この問題についてさらに先を聞かなくてよい。
